From Berlin to Guangzhou, the conversation continues
After a summer that closed with IFA 2026 in Berlin, the global home appliance industry is moving towards its next major autumn meeting point: Guangzhou.
From 15 to 19 October 2026, Homa will return to the 140th Canton Fair – Phase 1, bringing together new cooling appliances, new ideas and new conversations around the future of food preservation.
For an industry that increasingly connects innovative technology, design, manufacturing, changing lifestyles and global supply chains, the Canton Fair is more than another date in the calendar. It remains one of those rare places where the scale of Chinese industry meets the diversity of international markets.
Established in 1957 and held every spring and autumn, the Canton Fair has become one of the world’s most important international trade events and an enduring meeting point between Chinese manufacturing and global business.

For Homa, however, it is also something more personal: a place to reconnect with partners from across the world, listen to markets and turn conversations into the next generation of ideas.
From technology searching for meaning to ideas taking shape
At IFA 2026, one message emerged particularly clearly: technology is increasingly being asked to prove its relevance.
As we reflected in From Berlin, Technology Is Searching for Meaning, the real question is no longer simply how much technology can be introduced into an appliance, but how effectively it can translate into benefits people understand and value.
Guangzhou is where many of those conversations become tangible.
Visitors to Homa will discover how our latest generation of cooling appliances interprets the three pillars that continue to guide our work: Care, Food Preservation and Design.
Not as separate themes, but as one connected way of thinking.
Together, they shape the way Homa supports brands and retailers in creating propositions that remain recognisably their own.
A booth designed around people
The Canton Fair also gives us an opportunity to renew the way we present ourselves.

Every year, the booth takes on a new visual expression. The concept behind it remains deliberately consistent.
Our booth is designed first and foremost as a place to meet.
A space where products support conversations rather than replace them; where we can listen to our partners, exchange perspectives, understand emerging needs and inspire what might come next.
It is an approach that has progressively shaped the way Homa thinks about trade fairs and customer experience, and one we explored in The Homa Experience.
Because a booth should not simply tell visitors what a company has created.
It should create the conditions for people to imagine what they could create together.
A wider industrial footprint
This Canton Fair also comes only a few weeks after another important milestone in Homa’s international development.
On 15 September, Homa officially began cooling appliance production at its new manufacturing hub in Chonburi, Thailand — expanding the company’s industrial network beyond China while transferring manufacturing knowledge, processes and culture across borders.
The story is explored in Made with Homa.
The new hub is not simply additional capacity.
It represents a broader evolution of Homa’s manufacturing model: global capability combined with local responsiveness, industrial scale with flexibility, and technology with the human knowledge required to make it useful.
The 2027 Global Collection is already here
Visitors do not need to wait until Guangzhou to begin exploring what comes next.
The Homa 2027 Global Collection is already available in digital form and can be downloaded here.
The new collection continues the evolution of Homa’s approach to cooling: using industrial capability, design and food-preservation expertise to translate changing lifestyles into increasingly relevant product solutions.
At Canton Fair, those ideas will move from pages to products — giving our partners the opportunity to experience them, discuss them with our teams and begin imagining how they can become part of their own market propositions.
Products are only part of the story
During the Canton Fair, Homa will also introduce two editorial projects that extend the conversation beyond the products on display.
The fair will mark the global launch of Issue 9 of Homa Design Magazine, our continuing editorial exploration of design, culture, food, technology and contemporary living.
What began as an experiment in industrial storytelling has progressively become part of Homa’s cultural identity and an editorial experience increasingly recognised internationally within the world of design.
In 2026, the project received an iF DESIGN AWARD — recognition of our belief that an industrial company can contribute not only products, but ideas, perspectives and culture.
Alongside it, Homa will officially release its new white paper, The New Shape of Differentiation.
Its starting question is deliberately simple:
When manufacturing excellence and advanced technology become increasingly accessible, what will continue to make a product, a brand and a relationship meaningfully distinctive?
The paper explores differentiation through products, services, brand meaning, design, artificial intelligence and industrial culture — particularly from the unusual perspective of a pure OEM and ODM manufacturer whose role is not to impose its identity, but to help different partners strengthen theirs.
140 editions. One enduring reason to meet.
There is something fitting about bringing all these conversations to Guangzhou.
Since 1957, the Canton Fair has connected Chinese industry with businesses from around the world.
Its scale, products and technologies have changed enormously. Its essential purpose has not:
That is also how Homa approaches the fair.
Not simply as a place to present what has already been created, but as a place to understand what should come next.
Because products may take shape in factories.
But the best ones begin with people.
