The concept behind The Homa Squares was born from a simple but powerful observation: throughout history, the world’s great squares have never been just physical places.
They were spaces where business, culture, conversation and vision came together.
From traditional city plazas to contemporary urban landmarks, squares have always connected people, ideas and industries.
At Canton Fair, Homa translated that philosophy into an exhibition experience designed not simply as a booth, but as an open platform for dialogue and collaboration.
And this year, that vision naturally expanded beyond the fairground itself.
If the first Homa Square was built inside the exhibition halls, the second emerged under the skyline of Guangzhou — at Canton Tower Plaza itself.

At the foot of the iconic Canton Tower, the Homa April Event transformed Canton Tower Plaza into an immersive outdoor experience, welcoming over 500 international guests and clients during one of the most ambitious editions we have ever created.
For the first time, the event moved fully outdoors.
Breaking away from the traditional banquet format, food trucks, open gathering spaces and immersive staging encouraged spontaneous interaction, conversation and connection between guests from all over the world.
More than a corporate gathering, the Homa Event became a live expression of the philosophy shared throughout this year’s Design Talk by Homa CEO Michael Yao:
